Technological progress
The Lightning Bitcoin team continues to update and audit the basic code of the system, and update key modules such as the light wallet client, mobile wallet client, wallet server, token browser, etc., in preparation for the upcoming DeFi product.
Product News
60% of LBTC’s new wallets supporting DeFi and cross-chain have been developed, the core transfer-coin function module has been completed, and the UI/front-end design and development are in progress.
Community Review
On February 7th, the LBTC team simultaneously held Q&A activities on Twitter and Weibo to answer the questions that community members care about.
On February 11th, LBTC’s official public account opened a prize call for names. The event has been supported by many community enthusiasts, some creative names such as: Light Bit LBTC, LBTC Space Station, LBTC Tomorrow Star, Bit Bull, etc. Upon the announcement of the winners on the 22nd, LBTC officially decided to formally select “LBTC Space Station” as the name of LBTC’s new official official account, and award winners 100LBTC (RMB valued at around RMB 2,000).
During the Spring Festival from February 12th to 17th, the LBTC team distributed New Year greetings and congratulations to the God of Wealth to commemorate the arrival of the 2021 New Year together.
On February 19th, LBTC Roadmap 2.0 was released on Twitter and Weibo at the same time. The LBTC2.0 roadmap is mainly divided into 4 phases: Funan, Sri Vijaya , Ayutthaya, and Raffles. Each phase takes 2–5 months. LBTC will complete the cross-chain and smart gateway agreement in phases. Smart contracts, integrated oracles and Layer 2 protocols, integrated Aragon to enhance community governance.
Team News
LBTC is recruiting an engineer proficient in solidity and C++ to assist the original team in developing new products, and two business managers responsible for the European market and the Middle East market.
